Interest Rates

Interest Rate

The current interest rate payable on the ANZ V2 Plus Account is 4.25% per annum calculated daily and paid quarterly.  The interest rate payable on the ANZ V2 Plus Account of 4.25% per annum, is 1.25% per annum higher than the standard interest rate offered to retail ANZ V2 Plus clients (currently 3.00% per annum) and is a special wholesale interest rate applicable to ESUPERFUND clients.  The interest rate applies to the entire balance in the ANZ V2 Plus Account, regardless of the SMSF cash balance.

NOT an Introductory Interest Rate

Importantly the interest rate offered to ESUPERFUND clients is not an introductory Interest Rate, which is typical in the marketplace, but an ongoing interest rate applicable to ESUPERFUND clients.  In fact the ANZ V2 Plus Account has one of the highest interest rates in the market for a full transaction account and has no monthly fees.

Additional Interest helps pay for your SMSF Annual Compliance Fee

Based on an average SMSF cash balance of $100,000, the additional interest payable, equates to your SMSF receiving additional interest of $1,250 per annum, helping to pay for your SMSF Annual Compliance Fee.  Even if your SMSF cash balance is lower, your SMSF will still receive valuable additional interest not available to retail ANZ clients.
