When you become a client of ESUPERFUND you are required to establish a Comsec Trading Account, enabling to Trade ASX Listed Securities Online. ASX Listed Securities include but are not limited to:

- All ASX Listed Shares
- ASX Listed Company Options and Exchange Traded Options (ETOs)
- Warrants (see our Warrants section for more)
- Exchange Traded Funds or ETFs (see the ASX website here for more)
- Listed Investment Companies
- Listed Trusts

Documentation to establish a Comsec Trading Account is included with the documentation forwarded to you when you submit your online application to become a client of ESUPERFUND. Your SMSF must have a Trading Account to Trade ASX LIsted Securities. The Comsec Account must be used as your Fund's Trading Account. By using Comsec as the preferred Trading Platform for our clients we are able to ensure that our services are provided at a fee significantly below the market.

BUYING ASX Listed Securities for your SMSF

All ASX LIsted Security Purchases must be made using the Comsec Trading Platform. When you BUY ASX LIsted Securities, the Trade is settled from the funds in your ANZ V2 Plus Account. Therefore you must ensure that you have enough cleared Funds in your ANZ V2 Plus Account to cover the cost of the Trade. Importantly the Funds are accessed by Comsec automatically to settle trades. It could not be easier.

SELLING ASX Listed Securities for your SMSF

All ASX LIsted Security Sales must be made using the Comsec Trading Platform. When you SELL ASX LIsted Securities, the Settlement Proceeds are deposited into your ANZ V2 Plus Account.

FREE Equities Research and Information

Comsec provides its clients with valuable Equities and Research Information, absolutely FREE. Details of the FREE Equities Research and Information can be found here.

No Obligation to Trade ASX Listed Securities

It is important to understand that the investment decisions for your SMSF always remain with you, giving you total control. You are under no obligation to Trade ASX LIsted Securities for your SMSF if you do not want to. The Comsec Trading Platform is provided for you to be used only if you want to Trade ASX LIsted Securities for your SMSF.

Record Keeping

For all Trades executed using the Comsec Platform, ESUPERFUND receive electronic confirmation of all Trades your SMSF makes, so no records are required from you each year as we already have access to them. Importantly the information we receive is only transaction data and we have absolutely no access on your Account.

Comsec Account Queries

If you have any queries about your SMSF Comsec Account please contact Comsec on 1300 650 675. This is a dedicated number for ESUPERFUND Clients separate to the retail division of Comsec, giving you priority service. Please do not contact ESUPERFUND directly in relation to queries about your SMSF Comsec Account as unfortunately we will be unable to assist you with your queries.

Only you can transact on the Comsec Account

Importantly ESUPERFUND has absolutely no ability to enter or transact on your Comsec Account. Only you as the Fund Trustee can login and transact on the Comsec Account. This gives you peace of your mind your super monies are totally secure. Please note that Comsec will send to ESUPERFUND an annual data file of all your Comsec trades and transactions to enable us to attend to your SMSFs annual compliance obligations.
