EBROKING Settlement Account - ESUPERFUND SMSF Clients

When clients of ESUPERFUND establish an SMSF EBROKING Trading Account, an EBROKING Settlement Account will be automatically established which will be used to settle trades. The cash in the Settlement Account is held with Bankwest. You will be notified of the details of the EBROKING Settlement Account on the establishment of your EBROKING Trading Account.

 
 
Linked to Transaction Bank Account

For ESUPERFUND SMSF Account Holders, the EBROKING Settlement Account is automatically linked to your SMSF Transaction Bank Account on the establishment of your SMSF by ESUPERFUND. This allows you to move monies between both accounts to settle share purchases.

 
 
Deposits into the EBROKING Settlement Account

To deposit monies into the EBROKING Settlement Account you must first deposit monies into the Transaction Bank Account. Once the monies have cleared in the Transaction Bank Account, you can then transfer monies to the EBROKING Settlement Account in order to settle share purchases. Importantly you can view your EBROKING Settlement Account Balance online when you login to your EBROKING Trading Account. Deposits into the EBROKING Settlement Account can be made by way of BPAY, EFT Transfer or Fax Authority. These options are discussed below.

 
 
BPAY Deposits into the EBROKING Settlement Account

Details to make a BPAY Deposit into the EBROKING Settlement Account from the Transaction Bank Account are provided as follows:

 

   
BPAY Biller Code: 9340
Customer Reference No.: This can be obtained from the EBROKING Trading Platform.
Under 'Shares', select 'How to Deposit' and click on 'BPAY'.
Amount: Enter Amount to Transfer.
Transfer Limit: Please contact your financial institution to confirm.

 

 
 
EFT Transfers into the EBROKING Settlement Account

Details to make an EFT Transfers into the EBROKING Settlement Account from the Transaction Bank Account are provided as follows:

 

   
BSB: This can be obtained from the EBROKING Welcome Email.
Account Number: This can be obtained from the EBROKING Trading Platform.
Under 'Shares', select 'How to Deposit' and click on 'Direct Deposit'.
Amount: Enter Amount to Transfer.
Transfer Limit: $1,000. Can be increased to $10,000 on request.
Account Name: Your SMSF Name

 

 
 
Fax Authority Transfers into the EBROKING Settlement Account

Alternatively a Fax Authority can be used to transfer funds into the EBROKING Settlement Account from the Transaction Bank Account. There are no transfer limits with the Fax Authority. Details to complete the Fax Authority are as follows:

Under 'Shares', select 'How to Deposit' and click on 'Direct Deposit'.

Withdrawals from the EBROKING Settlement Account

As detailed above, the EBROKING Settlement Account is automatically linked to your Transaction Bank Account on the establishment of your SMSF by ESUPERFUND. This means to access monies from your EBROKING Settlement Account you must first transfer the monies to the Transaction Bank Account. You cannot withdraw monies directly from the EBROKING Settlement Account. To withdraw monies from the EBROKING Settlement Account you will need to login to your EBROKING Trading Platform, click "Accounts" then "Transfer Funds" in the drop down box.

 
 
BUYING ASX Listed Securities

To place a BUY Trade under the EBROKING Trading Platform you simply need to click "Trade" and then "Buy" when you are logged in to your EBROKING Trading Account. When you BUY ASX Listed Securities, the Trade will be settled from the EBROKING Settlement Account (see above). Importantly when you place a trade, the funds are accessed automatically from the EBROKING Settlement Account to settle trades. Trades are settled under the T+2 settlement system. That is, trades are settled 2 trading days from the date the trade was completed. 

 
 
BUY Trade Confirmations

When you execute a BUY trade using the EBROKING Trading Platform, trading confirmations will be forwarded via email. Confirmations can also be viewed and downloaded by clicking "Shares" and then "Confirmations" when you are logged in to your EBROKING Trading Account. Similarly you can view your Trading History by clicking "Shares" and then "Order History" when you are logged in to your EBROKING Trading Account.

 
 
SELLING ASX Listed Securities

To place a SELL Trade under the EBROKING Trading Platform you simply need to click "Trade" and then "Sell" when you are logged in to your EBROKING Trading Account. When you SELL ASX Listed Securities, the settlement proceeds will be automatically deposited into your EBROKING Settlement Account. Trades are settled under the T+2 settlement system. That is, trades are settled 2 trading days from the date the trade was completed. 

 
 
SELL Trade Confirmations

When you execute a SELL trade using the EBROKING Trading Platform, trading confirmations will be forwarded via email. Government Guaranteed

Balances in the EBROKING Settlement Account held with Bankwest of up to A$250,000 in total are guaranteed by the Federal Government without charge. For further information please refer to the Financial Claims Scheme at https://www.fcs.gov.au/.
